Felt just a little too far out location wise but used frequent bus service without problem. Room had fresh fruit, sweets, and bottled water as complimentary and they surprised us with Champagne and flowers for our anniversary gift- nice touch. Great staff!

The best yet and no extras for parking. Also on arrival a bottle of bubbly and banners in our room as we were celebrating both our 60ths.

Room was slightly out dated. Location was the big issue as it added an extra $80 dollars with taxis at night. Wish it was a lot closer to the middle of State Street. No charge for parking.

Modest hotel, but nicely decorated rooms and communal areas. The hotel does not have rollaway beds - so it's bed sharing or nothing for families. This hotel is on quite a busy main road, and is a fair drive away from the centre of town and sea front, so not an ideal location for exploring Santa Barbara in the evening.

This was a high standard motel, well situated on the main street into Santa Barbara. Our room was a deluxe one so it was very nice with lots of space. The grounds were well maintained, with two pool areas and the restaurant was fine for breakfast - reasonably priced with good service. There was a shopping plaza just across the street which had restaurants and shops for browsing. We would be happy to recommend this accommodation.

I was concerned about staying in this hotel after reading reviews on trip advisor, but we were given a lovely room on the ground floor near the pool area so we were more than pleased. There weren't any coffee making facilities in the room but the there was a full range of self service coffee from reception 24/7. Reception staff were always so helpful.

Another great hotel, but a little far from downtown. Although an upmarket mall across the road made thing tolerable for Jenny. Great diner opposite. Pool uncrowned.

Too far out of town for my comfort - no public transport so had to drive to restaurants for dinner and be very careful about drinking alcohol with the meal. Ate in the adjoining restaurant the first evening and a 'tip' of 20% was added to the bill without asking us - we were not tempted to return.

We asked for a quiet room and we got a downstairs room with our own little patio area near the pool. It was very nice indeed. Nice bed, clean etc. Staff pleasant. Not in centre of town but short drive. In a good area on a road with lots of restaurants, some within walking distance. A shopping mall just over the road. Macys, Sears, some designer shops, cafes etc and a supermarket. Free coffee in the reception. Fruit and water in our room. We had a great stay and would recommend this place.

A nice hotel, the staff were very accommodating and provided a bottle of champagne to celebrate our being newlyweds on honeymoon. Good mobile phone signal and Wi-Fi for iPhone.

A few miles from the centre but easily assessable. Best hotel of the trip. Room superb and could walk from patio to pool. Staff really helpful.

Super room with excellent facilities. All amenities available at the hotel. Even had windscreen cleaned by hotel staff. Parking free. Free Wi-Fi.

Located 10-15 mins from seafront. Reception staff very helpful. Food in restaurant poor and service not impressive. Nice garden area and pool. Santa Barbara is a great base for whale watching trips off Channel Islands.
