The Delano is a luxurious oceanfront property, located in the heart of the Art Deco District and conveniently close to restaurants, shops and the colourful South Beach nightlife. Distinctive features include massive white columns, billowy sheers that hang from the ceiling, and an "eat-in" kitchen, where you can simply pull up a stool and choose your fare. The luxurious 15-story hotel offers true Art Deco flavour with a New York flair.
Completely designed by Philippe Starck and hotelier Ian Schrager in 1995, the hotel facilities include an original designed pool (with underwater music), a rooftop Bath House Spa and Solarium, state of the art David Barton Gym and the critically acclaimed Blue Door Restaurant, featuring the cuisine of world famous Chef Claude Troigros.

Just walk through the front door into the most unforgettable indoor/outdoor lobby and you'll know why! Clean, crisp, white, minimalist without feeling bare….this is a singularly designed property. The pool is definitely the coolest one we've been to in the States with underwater music and dedicated areas for floating and meditating. The Blue Door restaurant is in a word - mouth-wateringly delicious - OK that's three, but they are deserved! Aqua Spa, located on the hotel roof offers a peaceful space with divine treatments.
