Charm of the French Quarter of New Orleans ... The Resorts 1,008 rooms are located in seven three-story buildings that allow guests to visit a picturesque and nearly perfect Disney version of New Orleans. All guests of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter are welcome to use the services and amenities of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside as well.
The quaint little "streets", reminiscent of those found in the historic Jackson Square Warehouse area of the French Quarter, branch off from the Courtyard. These cobblestone streets are lined with gas lamp-posts, mini wrought iron fences, hitching posts and iron benches. Beautiful landscaping accentuated by majestic oaks, pear trees and fragrant magnolias greet guests as they make their way to the seven 3-story buildings that house the accommodations. Accented by more lacy wrought iron railings, each peach, cream or blue building has 144 guest rooms. Cascades of bougainvillea, glistening fountains and strolls along the Sassagoula River pathways add to the charm and romance of this quiet little resort.
