Located right at the heart of san Francisco. Had to wait for about 20 mins for breakfast as they had given free coupons for the weekend. It was also Columbus Day. Lots of eateries close by and the Cable Car ran right by the corner.

San Francisco was fantastic. Hotel was in a perfect place for us, and had a great bar to watch the Baseball.

We loved San Francisco and I can't think of a better hotel location to see all the sights! Situated right next to Union Square and only a short walk down to Fisherman’s Wharf and downtown the location of the hotel cannot be beat. The rooms were not five star but the staff were certainly five stars with the concierge giving excellent tips for local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Good city centre location with China town and shops all in walking distance. Free Wi-Fi in bedrooms which was good. Kids enjoyed swimming pool. We were given 6 complimentary breakfasts during the 3 night stay which was great. Rooms clean and reasonably sized.

The location was perfect - right in the centre of everything and it was a reasonably short walk to Fisherman’s wharf. The restaurant was great - really good food and reasonably priced compared to other places in San Fran.

Loved this hotel, staff were absolutely brilliant, unfortunately our room was at the back of the hotel with no view apart from the hotels air conditioning and vent chimneys (Room 334). However this did not spoil our stay one bit as the staff and San Fran itself more than made up for it. The hotel location is superb, right in the union square area ideal for catching the cable cars and city tour buses (we recommend these). Definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, received a free breakfast with our stay! Nearby to Macy's, and other shops. Tour bus stop is just across the road from the hotel, and BART Station and Tram stop are also nearby.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we could not find the car park entrance. The concierge explained the entrance was around the block, valet parking only. Entering the hotel from the car park was interesting, as it appeared it was a different hotel from the hotel when we first arrived, and this was confirmed when we had to walk down two flights of stairs to get to the reception, with bags. It was only then that the receptionist explained it was two separate hotels that have been combined into one. However the receptionist made us feel welcomed and gave us advice on everything from shopping to eating. Room was small and this was due to the furniture being too big for the room. The sink was separate from the shower/toilet, but it was a bit strange washing in the corridor by the door to the room. However saying that the hotel is located in the middle of San Francisco and everything was on your doorstep. The hotel was running a breakfast promotion and gave us 4 vouchers for the two day's we stayed. Shame they could not make this 6 vouchers for the three people. However on the last day the server made it up by been flexible with the spare voucher.

The room was smaller than expected with a tiny bathroom. This was inadequate for 4 people. There was the unexpected bonus of breakfast vouchers for 2 people for the duration of our stay.
