Located in the heart of the exciting International Drive entertainment district, the Homewood Suites is within walking distance to over 100 restaurants and shops. The hotel is centrally located to all the major Florida theme parks and offers complimentary transportation to all major attractions. A complimentary breakfast buffet is served daily at the Homewood Suites and a complimentary Welcome Home reception is provided Monday through Thursday from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.

You can’t beat this 'suite' deal! One or two bedroom spacious suites right in the heart of the action on International Drive. All rooms include a refrigerator, microwave, 2 burner stove top and all utensils. But if cooking on holiday isn’t your style – not to worry, there are loads of local restaurants (and shops) on your doorstep. Our fav is Bahama Breeze for great atmosphere and al fresco dining. Disney theme parks are only minutes away and complimentary shuttle service is available daily, so no need to hire a car if you’d rather not. Included in the rate is a hot breakfast buffet every day and evening reception Monday – Thursday offering light meals and beverages.

The Homewood suites were excellent value, particularly as breakfast and there was an optional free meal between 5 and 7pm.20 minutes drive from the Disney Parks wasn't ideal if that is where you intend to spend a lot of time but the free shuttle bus went to Epcot at 8.15 and 10.15 daily, returning at 19.30 and 21.30 if booked in advance. From Epcot there were free buses/monorails to the main Disney Parks. There was also a free shuttle to SeaWorld which is situated much closer to the suites but to be more flexible it was easy to hop on the International drive trolley bus which operates frequently the length of I Drive for $1.25 and children travel free. You can reach Aquatica too (next door to SeaWorld).We found a car rental wasn't necessary. The character breakfast at the Contemporary resort was a great hit with the children, need to book well in advance. We also loved Discovery Cove and the Dolphin experience. We arrived back at Heathrow approx 3 hours before they closed the airspace and consider ourselves very lucky.

Some areas could do with updating especially the kitchen areas. All in all though it’s great value.

A nice hotel, roomy and well equipped. Housekeeping could however be more responsive.
