Apart from poor weather, we really liked Santa Monica...Some great restaurants near the hotel. Los Angeles itself was a disappointment, but we had been warned about that.

Fantastic hotel and location to finish the road trip. A meal in the penthouse restaurant on the 18th floor was an excellent way to end the holiday.
