Very well situated hotel close to the beach. Valet parking only so have lots of money handy for gratuities. Service is excellent. After the relative calm of the previous resorts, we found the manic driving in LA rather hard to get used to. Allow plenty of time to get to your destination (eg 90mins to Queen Mary at Long Beach) and a sat nav is a must!

Great hotel although it lacks a little soul. Location on the beach is lovely and easily walk able to the pier and 3rd Street promenade. Would recommend the hotel without a doubt but would perhaps try somewhere else next time.

Lovely hotel, right on Santa Monica beach. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and our "suite" was right on the end of the hotel with a fabulous view of Santa Monica Pier. We had to pay for valet parking (there was no other option), however we did get a nice surprise when we checked out - we'd had breakfast in the hotel, but around $47 was deducted from our bill as this was included in our room rate, which we hadn't been advised at check-in. Great base for exploring LA and only about 20mins from the airport. I just wish we'd had more time there.

Hotel located just across the road from the beech. Quite modern, but felt cool and welcoming. Arrived early and the receptionist informed us the room was not quite ready. Left a contact number and went to explore the pier. 20 minutes later room ready, went back to hotel, bags arrived at room. Ground floor room at the side, no view of the sea, but we had a patio. Room good size and the bathroom again had all the facilities. Pool disappointing as it was small for the hotel; however the balcony overlooking the beach is worth it. We managed to get a table with a fire pit which they lit at 19:00 and spent the night relaxing looking at the lights on the pier and listening to the waves lapping the beach.
