requirements - it has to be LA. Families will revel in the theme parks -
this is home to the original Disneyland and Universal Studios, while there's
a world famous zoo and IMAX theatre.
Hello and OK junkies will LOVE the whole Hollywood scene. Walk in famous
footsteps with a visit to the Kodak Theatre; don't miss the Museum of
Television and Radio; track down the rich and famous with a stroll along
Sunset Strip (the western end is the best place for star spotting) and you
MUST visit Grauman's Chinese Theatre, home to red carpet LA movie premieres since 1927.
Hope you saved enough energy for some retail therapy! The Beverly Center has
over 160 shops, or if you'd prefer to do upscale, Rodeo Drive will tempt
the credit card.
Had enough of all the glam? Then head for the beaches.
Santa Barbara is only a short, scenic coastal drive from LA and you can
enjoy the sand and surf and area wineries as well. Malibu, Santa Monica and
Venice Beach are also great relaxing spots or join the locals by
rollerblading or biking the boardwalks. And best of all - there's still
loads to see next time!
