PROPERTY DETAILS
Address:
640 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach
Located on Ocean Drive, South Beach directly opposite and all highlights within walking distance. The hotel has 126 rooms altogether, two restaurants and a large mahogany bar area with a 1940's billiards table. Built in 1937, The Park Central is known as "The Blue Jewel" of Ocean Drive. Faithfully restored and re-opened by Goldman Properties in 1987, it remains as impressive today as it did in the Golden Era of Miami Beach. A pastel-hued Art Deco classic, just steps from the ocean, filled with the charm, history and elegance of days gone by.
| Why We Love It | Designed by Henry Hohauser, one of the foremost architects of the art-deco movement, it doesn't get more authentic. Located directly across from the beach, with heated pool, roof-top sun terrace, two restaurants and a bar - 4-star doesn't come with more ambience at such reasonable rates. This isn't the hotel for large resort lovers, but is for those who love a quaint, cool, holiday setting which pays homage to its art deco roots.
