| Why We Love It | Typical of the Planet Hollywood see and be seen style, this hotel does not disappoint. From the minute you enter and see the cool crystal art and funky front desk you know you are somewhere with flare. Ideally located right in the middle of the strip and newly refurbished (this used to be the Aladdin Hotel) the rooms are fresh and tastefully appointed. Restaurants and bars are plentiful and so is the shopping with the Miracle Mile Shops located inside.
In a word – this is hotel is pure cool!
Tip – the Planet Hollywood Restaurant is still located at Caesar’s Palace for the time being.

We got upgraded to a great corner suite for just another $20 a night. All good apart from a few of the staff at the reception gave us the impression they didn't want to help.

Very nice clean room. But finding reception is like a maze walking through a mall and casino to get there. Staff were a little rude at check in but nothing major.

A very good hotel room - large with a good view. Being situated on the Strip is excellent with most things within walking distance. Hotel facilities were a little lacking - no laundry service, extra surcharge for a refrigerator in your room.

One of the older hotels on the strip, we were told we had to have a disabled room as that's all they had. So lots of extra bars/handles in the bathroom. Staff weren’t particularly friendly. Superbly located on the heart of the strip, it was clean and comfortable although a bit dated.

In a perfect spot on the Strip with all the panache that is Las Vegas. Huge, loud and brash but if you don't want that you shouldn't be in Vegas. All the amenities available 24/7 and the Miracle Mile is amazing! Restaurants and buffet excellent. Great fun!

Perfect location right on middle of Vegas Strip. Room we had was on 51st floor so got as good a view as you would from some of the towers you had to pay to get to the top of. The direct view over the Bellagio fountains was perfect. Toilet was as big as some hotel rooms with marble floors and work tops. Possibly best hotel bathroom I have stayed in. Only major issue was 45 minute queue to check-in. Never had much dealing with staff except room not being cleaned one day which was rectified quickly. Hotel entertainment was as good as the rest of Vegas.

Had to wait an hour to check in and finding the way from the car park to the front desk is a nightmare as signage is rubbish and you have to walk through the Miracle Mile shops with all your luggage. We ended up with a fabulous room upgrade worth an extra $70 a night so all was soon forgotten when I was soaking in the bath with a flat screen TV above and a view of the Strip and the mountains beyond!! The place is a maze and we continually got lost looking for the elevators and the car. We seriously thought we had lost the car one day! 'Bills' is much smaller and easier to negotiate but we did love PH, especially the Spice Market Buffet. They had a deal on where for $40 you could have eating at any one of the buffets in the Harrah group (7) for 24hrs from when you initially visited. What a deal! We worked it so we had 4 meals (twice), having breakfast at 9am one day, lunch, dinner, then breakfast at 8am the next day! The only downside was waiting in line but everywhere was the same as it was very busy.

This hotel is brilliant whether by luck or design I do not know but we got to stay in the Batman Suite. We could have stayed many more days here, what a place, the most in your face, over the top town I have ever visited, totally brilliant. You need a list of all the hotels to visit. Top of our list was the Venetian, for St Marks Square, the Miracle Mile for shops and the Bellagio for the fountains.

Be warned - get there before 5pm as they could only offer one king-size bed & a rollaway for our party of 4. Also total confusion over parking availability - when the sign says valet parking full, that isn't necessarily what they mean! Self parking a 20 minute walk through the shops (with suitcases!) That said, when the parking issue resolved, valet is complementary. Even standard rooms are stunning with the most enormous bathroom. A difficult experience, BUT having been through it once, & knowing up front that there may be issues to deal with, would go back (again great rooms). No resort fee.

We was given a complimentary room upgrade for our last night in Vegas and it was a view of the Las Vegas Strip which was so wonderful, this hotel cannot do enough for you, I would definitely recommend this hotel for the younger couple, possibly the music would be too much for the older couple.

The rooms were as expected. In each room the bathroom was enormous exceeding our expectation. Had to have a zed-bed put in one room for my youngest son. Overall the PH lived up to our expectation, with its prominent feature being its location on the strip.

The hotel still had some evidence of the old Aladdin Hotel - Bathroom fittings etc - and there was a lack of hanging / drawer space in the bedroom - also the room was very dark - even at midday with all the lights on. Be prepared to be stopped by the staff each time to entered or left the casino to be asked if we wanted any complimentary booze or gaming credits - unfortunately unless you are either married or had proof that you lived together, your were not eligible - this did become a bit of a pain after the first day.... The hotel location was excellent - only $20 from the airport and never more than a $10 cab ride to anywhere along the strip. Generally the hotel isn't as posh or as slick as the others on the strip, but it has a good "young" vibe, the restaurants were good and the Miracle Mile shopping is excellent - my feet hurt!!!

Hotel was in a great position - right in the middle of the strip and for this reason we would use it again. Facilities were good, clean and spacious but must say the halls and corridors leading to rooms were decorated very dismally in bright blue and black !! (a bit sombre to say the least !!)
