Located in the charming and historic Back Bay, the Sheraton Hotel is ideally situated close to the Financial District and just one block from famed Newbury Street, the scenic Charles River and many favourite shops, restaurants and museums. The hotel is connected via an indoor walkway to two hundred shops at the Prudential Center and Copley Place Mall. Saks Fifth Avenue, Ann Taylor, Gucci, Neiman Marcus, Williams-Sonoma, Hugo Boss and Bally are just some of the stores within this complex. Restaurants offering every type of cuisine and setting are also located "under the same roof as the Sheraton" making it very easy to shop, wine and dine, all indoors.
Rooms have also been updated with individual climate controls, new windows and velvet draperies, upgraded bathroom fixtures, new furnishings and an expanded work area.

The breakfast buffet was not as exciting as some and the restaurant was a bit dull overall. I would be more than happy to return there but would not choose it for my next visit, only because I like to try different places.

Room was fantastic. Swimming pool good but I felt hotel was too far from the town. It took about 30 minutes to walk into town. It did have shops and bars nearby, also no evening entertainment. As I was on my own it would have been nice to sit in the bar and listen to some music. Overall still very good.

On arrival friendly receptionist told us we had been upgraded to a suite of rooms. Rooms were large and had great views but turned out to be irritatingly noisy. The smoke detector (?) was particularly irksome as it made a constant but not rhythmic clicking noise. Easy walk or metro ride to sites in Boston.

A hotel exceeded our expectations. The beds were extremely comfortable which is very important at the end of a long day sightseeing, the shower was excellent and the swimming pool was open till quite late. We liked how the hotel was part of an indoor shopping complex - especially when it started to rain! It was also on the route of the Old Town Trolley Bus which was very convenient. A bit of a walk into the centre of Boston but the taxi prices were reasonable.

Go to Boston regularly, used to stay at the Midtown - never again, you can't compare.

Our room was spacious and of a high quality. Lovely hotel and the trolley bus stopped right outside...very convenient. Nice bar and a Starbucks in the lobby. Cheesecake Factory around the corner!

Excellent views from top floor rooms. Direct access to shopping mall and T trains, coffee shop as well as restaurants. Anti-gated safe facilities behind concierge - need to be in room. Be wary of credit card imprint being used to pay for room again!!!
