An art deco treasure dating back to 1940, the National has been meticulously restored as a landmark in the heart of South Beach's Historical District. The location, directly on the over 100 yards of Atlantic Ocean beach is next to Lincoln Road mall and two blocks from pulsating Ocean Drive. Guests are truly transported back to the elegance of 60 years ago with many original features retained, including the massive oak bar in the Deco Lounge and the terrazzo flooring in the Cigar Room. Furnishings for all guest rooms were custom-made in art deco style but no modern convenience is omitted with video player, bathrobes and hair dryer as standard features.
The tropical gardens include the hotel's 205-foot long "infinity" pool (pictured), the longest on Miami Beach.
