PROPERTY DETAILS
Address:
3355 South Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas
Experience the romance of Italy in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Beauty and grace surround you at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, where every detail has been carefully designed to provide you with a memorable stay – from the world’s largest standard suites to the city’s most elegant casino. Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of this all-suite Las Vegas hotel resort. Choose from 19 remarkable restaurants, browse the 80 international boutiques of The Grand Canal Shops.
Guests may choose from a wealth of healing and rejuvenating services at the 63,000 square foot health, spa and fitness facility or stroll the quarter mile of the "Grand Canal" and its 150 exquisite shops and boutiques. Some of the world's finest chefs have come to the Venetian to bring a range of unparalleled restaurants to this singular resort experience. All rooms at the Venetian are suite accommodations.
| Why We Love It | Because we love the idea of getting two holidays for the price of one! Okay, so you’re not really in Italy. But when you are floating down the Grand Canal, past St. Mark’s Square in an authentic Italian gondola, you certainly aren’t in Nevada anymore! Every effort has been made to replicate the experience of walking along the cobblestones of one of Europe’s most revered cities and for a split second we forgot we were in the good old USA. The all-suite accommodations, with approximately 700 square feet of space to store the shopping, offers everything the savvy traveller could dream of. With 17 restaurants, plentiful bars and incredible shopping we wonder if you’ll ever see the rest of the strip! The recently renovated pool area offers 5 acres of cool bliss, so sun lounger by day, dancing till dawn, Italian style all the way.

Classic Las Vegas hotel with no expense spared finishes. The breakfast deal at $9.00 for the buffet was the best value we encountered on our tour. Wonderful shops even if you had no intention of buying and who could resist being serenaded on a Gondola in a faithful recreation of the Venice canal system (with cleaner water!)

Housekeeping in suites not a good standard for this first class hotel. Long black hair on floor in toilet/bathroom on arrival, reported to concierge who said it would be cleaned immediately, still there following day, reported again, still not cleaned until 3rd day - given 75 dollars compensation (to be used in one of hotels restaurants). Hair grip beside bed from previous occupant, safety pin left on vanity unit in bathroom from previous occupancy, red stain on carpet beside bed, ALL still there when we checked out. Pillow cases too small for pillows. Bathrobes badly crumpled, greyish white - never changed during 4 night stay. Light missing in bathroom until 3rd night. When I complained about the hair in the bathroom, I was advised that the suite may have been the only one available (out of 7000 - I don't think so) but I was offered an upgrade at 45 dollars per night when we checked in!!! General hotel cleanliness very good. Staff too busy talking to each other and not concentrating. A beautiful hotel being spoiled by some low standards and staff attitudes.

Amazing hotel/resort - pretty surreal like the rest of Vegas, but everything you could need within the resort, definitely seemed a lot nicer than some of the other resorts we looked around while we were there.

I think you should recommend this to people. You were keen on the MGM and whilst I cannot directly compare because we did not stay at both, the Venetian experience was outstanding. It is actually more like the size of 2 hotels because it merges in to the Palazzo. The recreation of Venice inside has to be seen to be believed. The two connecting rooms (actually suites) were sumptuous. The pool and gym facilities are sizeable. On the downside, the hotel is a major tourist attraction in its own right, so is exceptionally busy with other people as well as the guests. There is no sense of exclusivity, but that may be difficult to find in Vegas unless you pay a lot.

Great suites - great hotel - at north end of strip - but easy to access all that Vegas has to offers. Some great restaurants and shops on site. Excellent choice.

3 TV's but no tea or coffee making facilities in the suite. All the best features within the hotel were open to the general public. All rooms are suites so very large, but would have given up space for a little more customer focus such as free computer access for guests only, tea/coffee maker etc. We were billed for mini bar items that we did not use - although this was readily taken off at reception, this did mean that we could not use automatic check out.

Wow what a hotel. Upon arrival you have the option of valet parking or parking in the hotel car park. We took the car park option, and as you would expect, got lost in the car park. Made it to the lift and entered the hotel, what a sight. This place has it all, from the casino to the canal, oh this is going to be fun. Reception was fantastic, and the receptionist took time to explain where our room was located and other facilities including the pool. The suite was excellent. The bathroom was large and had all the goodies you would expect. The only niggle was that it had no tea/coffee available in the room. The hotel has a series of pools, and to be honest you would be spoilt for choice. As usual you had all the options bar, food, spa treatments and staff were on hand for anything else you required. Be warned the sun is hot, and we spent some time chasing the shade like everyone else. The hotel was like a Pandora’s box, around each corner their was something else which impressed you on the quality and facilities of the hotel. From shop's to the food hall, it was all their, you could have spent a whole week in this place and still would have not done everything. The canal is the main attraction, with the clouds appearing to move with you. Take the ride on the gondola, it is worth it.... Fantastic place and when you look at the rest this was the best!

Unexpected mandatory $17 per night fee for Internet and gym which you do not need. No water or tea and coffee in the rooms. Nice hotel but very expensive.

A fantastic hotel/resort, really beautiful. Difficult to fault in any way - the staff were welcoming and accommodating; the rooms fab; pools lovely. Plenty of food options but our favourite was the Grande Cafe Luxe - reasonable and good quality. Could have spent all our time in the hotel the shops are amazing - we had to force ourselves to out and see the rest of Vegas!
